Provided technical skills through understanding of web technologies.
What we did
- Provided technical skills through understanding of web technologies, including the agencie’s Ekton CMS.
- Communicated and built relationships quickly with a broad range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Navigated complex architectural approval processes in order to influence outcomes positively.
- Developed a “composite” architecture that allowed a large number of diverse software development teams, and information contributors, to work together on the complex website.
A strategic architecture that allowed teams to contribute both static and dynamic transactional content into a consistent and coherent user-friendly website.
The outcome was a vast improvement in consistency and management of ato.gov.au for the ATOand a greatly improved experience for it users.
The ATO has used the composite architecture for several years and has greatly improved ato.gov.au numerous successful projects that have built on the composite architecture.
